Barilla Pesto Calabrese is a highly-flavoured and slightly spicy sauce. The flavour of bell peppers blends with typical Italian cheeses: ricotta, pecorino romano and Grana Padano, and last but not least, a spicy note given by red hot peppers, to give the flavour of Italian cuisine.
This excellent sauce goes perfectly with Barilla Fusilli: the unique flavour of Pesto alla Calabrese is ideally suited to the pasta's spiral coils, making it very appetizing.
Ready to be served directly on strained pasta, you may further enhance its flavour by adding 100g of mozzarella cheese chopped in small cubes.
